About the Group

The Jaypee group is a conglomerate based in Noida with diversified business in the area of power, real estate, Engineering & construction, cement, expressways, hospitality, IT, sports & education across the country. Jaiprakash Gaur was the founder and chairman of Jaiprakash Associates Limited.

As far as education sector is concerned, the Group has in its credit 34 schools, 5ITI’s, 1 Politechnic, 1 Advanced Skill Development Centre, 1 PG College, 1 B.Ed college and 4 universities with over 35000 students.

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT Noida)

JIIT Noida also known as JIIT University is a well-established renowned engineering college in Noida NCR. Known for its infrastructure, academic excellence and placements in leading companies in India and abroad. JIIT is ranked amongst the Top Engineering College in Delhi NCR.

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (Jaypee Noida) was established in the year 2001 with a vision to serve the society through quality education,   and has been declared as a “Deemed to be University” under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 in the year 2004. JIIT has two environmentally conditioned campuses located at sector-62 and sector-128 respectively. The Sector 128 campus is near about 20 kms. Far from the main campus of JIIT Noida at Sector-62, approx. 30 minutes drive and just 10 Minutes drive from the Amity chowk area on the Greater Noida Expressway.

Placements:

JIIT Noida takes care of placements for the graduating students of all the Jaypee campuses. The Jaypee Noida placement Cell arranges for all the placement activities like pre-placement talks, written tests, interviews and group discussion and extends all the required supports to make the placement successful.  The Institute have tie up with top notch National companies. Students from last 2-3 batches have been placed in national and multi-national companies with salary ranging from 3.4 lacs to 24 lacs. The placement activities are well supported by JIIT alumni.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

The candidates may please note the following before filling the application form / applying online:

There is a common application form (OMR and online for JEE based admissions for all) where a student can fill the choices of one or more than one Institute.

The admission is not done based on central counseling by CBSE.

Candidates must have appeared in the JEE Main 2016 conducted by the CBSE.

 In Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Programs, 50% of the seats allocated to the programs are open for candidates based on JEE (Main) score and 10+2 exam scores respectively. Candidates appearing in JEE and those with Biology & Biotechnology and Physics combination at 10+2 level can apply for both the options, but must fill up separate Application Forms, as prescribed.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE – 2016

The applicant may follow the four simple steps:

1.      Fill online or hard copy of application (OMR) to Register/Apply for Jaypee Education System

2.      Based on overall all India rank in JEE (Main) 2016, the Merit List is announced for admission.

3.      Counseling  will be held on the declaration of JEE Main-2016  results. Therefore it is advised to monitor and view the websites for details.

4.      Admission and commencement of classes – please refer to Institute website ‘www.jiit.ac.in’

REGISTRATION / APPLICATION PROCESS FOR JEE BASED ADMISSIONS

Candidates must register themselves by filling online or sending the OMR based prescribed application form.

The merit list is displayed depending on the choice of institute (s) given by the candidate in application form and based on JEE Main all India rank.

(c) The schedule of counseling shall be as below (common to all three institutes): (i) At JIIT, Noida, JUIT and Waknaghat

Each day the Cut-offs list will be displayed, therefore the candidates are advised that they should visit the Institute website to see the results.

Any of the below mentioned ways may be followed to fill the application form:

By buying the application form directly from any of the campuses by paying Rs. 1000/- cash or DD of Rs. 1000/- to JIIT favouring Jaypee Admissions Account, payable at Noida/Delhi.

By applying online on website (here we may mentioned our website URL). Candidates may also apply online and pay through bank draft.

The application form and brochure can also be obtained from selected bank branches of IDBI and PNB as per the details available on the institute websites.

FEE STRUCTURE:

The Tuition fee for the students being admitted for Academic Session 2016-17 is as follows:-

Tuition Fee : Rs. 65000/- per Semester

Development Fee : Rs. 60000/- per year

Hostel Charges inclusive of food & laundry (Optional) : Rs. 50000/- per semester (applicable only in Sector 62, Noida)

One time Caution Money (refundable) : Rs. 10000/-

The above JIIT fee structure may be revised as and when required by the management. The aspirants are advised to send the Complete Application/ Demand Draft along with Printout of Online Application Form before the last date.
